I remember the first time I ever went camping. I had a blast going on hikes up a mountain. I even slipped and tumbled down one. Fortunately, I hadn't gotten hurt. I caught myself in due time. The one thing that actually did hurt was sleeping at night with an inadequate sleeping back.
The day had beautiful weather, but the evenings called for a wind chill. Unfortunately, I was not well-equipped with camping gear for an evening out in the wilderness. I packed an extreme light sleeping back. Everyone else had plush, comfortable sleeping bags that were incredibly warm. I stayed up the entire night freezing in my sleeping back.
It was great to know that I could survive the wilderness literally freezing. When I got back home, I immediately went shopping for camping gear. I did some price comparison shopping on sleeping bags online. I was never going to be in a situation where I was freezing. I found a low cost sleeping bag at a camping gear superstore. I was so happy that I would never have to find myself in a freezing in the wilderness again.
