deer hunting
So Deer Hunting for this season has come to a close in my state and most other states. The number of successful Deer Hunting sportsmen and sportswomen who harvested a deer this year is down for my state. According to the reports I have read the decrease for Deer Hunting was down twenty percent from the previous year. this is a large reduction and the reasons for this vary. One is the lack of sportsmen and sportswomen who went Deer Hunting this year due to economic and other conditions. Many out of state hunters could not afford to make the trip for the two week season. Other reasons were the weather was less than ideal for much of the season and the main reason for the lower harvest numbers was a poor mast production. The deer are out there but they are more bunched up than normal due to the spotty acorn and other mast produced. If you could find areas with good mast then you would find the deer. I had a below average Deer Hunting season but there is always next year.
