When we go camping, you can depend on my two youngest grandchildren to go along with us.  My grandson is 11-years-old, and the granddaughter is 7-years-old.  Before we went on our last trip, we went online to look at some camping gear and hiking gearj. We found the cutest little belt for the children and we  ordered the Coleman for Kids Explorer Belt for both of the grandchildren.  It has so many neat attachments as well as a notebook for them to keep a journal of their explorations and finds.

The kids love to go with us everywhere.  They even went deep sea fishing when we went to Florida last year.  Those children had such a good time, and they caught more fish than any other adults aboard the boat.  I was afraid they might get seasick; but, they were little troopers...only PaPa got a little sick to his stomach.  We did just fine!  My husband said he would stick to deer hunting...it was a lot calmer.

We have been blessed with wonderful children who in turn had wonderful children.  We have to admit it is a lot of fun being a grandparent.  I never thought I would love someone as much as my own children...then you become a grandparent, and you realize you were wrong!
