camping gear, hiking gear


Come out, come out, where ever you are...yep, the weather is cooling off...the camping gear needs to come out! It is time to rummage through the backyard shed and pull out all that camping gear. The camping stove, lantern, tent, sleeping bags, duffle bags and all that stuff!

And, we can't forget the hiking gear! Grab the hiking boots and make sure the laces are still good. Slather on a good layer of some water proofing. Find the backpacks and clean out all of last years crumbs, empty wrappers and water bottles. You might even want to run it through the washing machine. Ok, so what's next?

Don't you know that no camping gear is complete without the smores makings and weenie sticks and the fire pie irons. All that good camping food is coming! Got to stock up on marshmallows, graham crackers, chocolate bars, hot dogs, buns, bread, butter, tomato sauce, cheese, jams, peanut butter and honey. Can't wait to throw all the camping and hiking gear into the back of the truck and get the heck out of dodge!
