It's been years since I first went out onto the ocean and did a little deep sea fishing. I was about 12 years old and my dad took out on a large fishing boat with about thirty other people. I caught a huge tuna that day and it took me about three hours to reel it in. I was exhausted and had blisters on my hands for a week. I wanted to take my son out for the same experience.

I started looking online for deep sea fishing opportunities in Cape Cod. We were going there on vacation and I thought it would be nice for the guys to have a day while the girls went out shopping. I found a great day tour that took you out to where the really deep ocean is and sets you up to bring monster tuna, marlin, and and even shark. I didn't think I wanted a shark, but a marlin would be fun. We got up to go deep sea fishing the second day of our vacation at 4 in morning and we didn't get back until 8 that night. But, we both came back with trophy sized marlin.
